Professional Fraud Auditor (PFA)

A. BASIC ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS
1. A bachelor’s degree plus
2. 2 years experience in finance, auditing, investigation, accounting, security and law
enforcement, digital forensics or cyber security or
3. Higher national diploma with over 3 years experience in finance, auditing, investigation,accounting, security and law enforcement, digital forensics or cyber security.

B. PROGRAM DURATION
The program is 100% self study with full tutor support. The entire program can be completed within a Maximum of two (2) years for busy professionals including the submission of 15,000 words thesis.

C. EXAM FORMAT AND PERIOD
The PFA exam is a computer based exam (CBE) of 400 multiple-choice questions for all 4 levels plus 15,000 words standard thesis approved by the executive counsel.

Candidates have up to two years to pass the exam. The exam may be taken up to five times in the period from the initial date of registration.

Candidates must pass with a minimum of 80%. The PFA Exam is written twice a year. That is, April and October respectively.

On successfully passing the online examination and submission and approval of the 15,000 words thesis,  the candidate is awarded PFA Certification. The certificate has a three-year expiration date renewable on re-certification at a nominal cost.
